Comment | If someone is acting lawfully it doesn't matter what their belief system is, I'm not sure what you're struggling with. The fact I used an extreme belief system to illustrate my point seems to be the main problem here.
What if I, or the public at large decided to regress 100 years and being gay was suddenly unacceptable. Should I refuse to police a pride march? Who decides what sort of people are allowed to exercise their right to march? Marching is lawful. Holding views or beliefs that some or most people find abhorrent is also lawful. Doing lawful things while being an unpopular minority shouldn't lead to you being policed differently. |
