It will help to know what kind of areas are actually going to be best for you to be looking so as to make your commute easier - however, Glasgow is a relatively small city with average public transport services so you would manage where-ever you landed.
As people say, your timing isn't going to make life easy for you - however, you have the benefit of being slightly older (I imagine, as you say you're doing a masters) and wanting to live alone rather than cohabiting. That puts you into a smaller subset of the student rental market, as most students are either looking for some kind of group accommodation. |
