In Glasgow I would wander around and explore. The city centre and West end very walkable. Head to the west end and Kelvingrove park, have a look in Kelvingrove museum (it's free), walk past Glasgow university on university avenue, check out byres road and great western road. If you get tired you can take the subway wherever you want to go.
