Not quite. You get charged for the maximum possible for that bus journey.
If your bus finishes its journey inside the "City" pricing boundary, it'd max at £2.80. If the bus is one that crosses into the "Local" boundary (what First calls the zone outside the city area) you'd be charged the maximum single fare for that, £4.50 or something like that. |
