| Comment | The girl is interfering with an event which I assume has been arranged for a few weeks. People in the march either expect, or will have been given assurances, that the march would have been allowed to happen and I'm going to assume that the people who reacted badly interpreted this as an attack on what they were promised.
Getting the police involved would have kicked things off even further with the marchers feeling threatened, and providing any hidden antagonists an opportunity to escalate the situation. |
