Comment | There are plenty of roads to take from the East End into the city centre on foot, and if I knew there was a big event on I would have adjusted accordingly.
If you don't think the girl was attention seeking, will you agree that she was disruptive/antagonistic/disrespectful - deliberately or not? If people had respected the walk it would have gone on without trouble. I don't particularly enjoy the fact that the church at the end of my road goes wild with its bell at 11am every Sunday, but I tolerate and get on with my life it because I'm not a hateful person with an agenda.
I know the idea of crashing a Walk being seen as disrespectful will get laughed at, but those taking part will see it that way which is why they reacted like they did. |
