There are standards in your tennancy agreement which will specify what is your job and what is your landlords. By default, this would be an issue for your landlord.
I would tell your landlord that you will only buy a new machine if you can take it with you at the end of your tennancy. Get them to agree to that and at least you arent buying *them* a machine. |
