In your “poor” country back home, do people have a semblance of civic responsibility when it comes to littering? Because that’s the big difference between here and most other countries. It’s not just Glasgow, most large UK cities are bad. Some councils are able to to spend more cleaning it up but the cause is all the same: us littering in the first place. I travel internationally a fair bit for work and I see the difference in most countries. In Seoul, they removed al the bins in the city years ago (long story) and the streets are still spotless.

It makes me cringe what people coming to here must think - its shameful.
