Comment | You're assuming they aren't doing anything - I'm happy to do a bit of litter-picking along the local canal or at my kids school but fucked if I'm going to jump out my car at the Cathedral St off-ramp and fill a couple of bin bags.
The "doing something" might be highlighting the problem and encouraging a bit of shame in those that recognise themselves in the comments and hopefully have them change their behaviour. It's a bit naive to call Reddit Glasgow an echo chamber - I'm frequently surprised at what gets up and down voted, but to suggest that nobody on here drops litter is a fairly bold assumption. |
