| Comment | bike theives know that getting police scotland to actually do anything about it is really difficult. even if you do find it on gumtree and alert the police, there's a good chance they won't do anything. they often don't see a bicycle as worth the risk that could come from it. i know in england, recovery rates is around 1/5 stolen bikes. if i had to guess for here, it's probably lower. |
