| Comment | The cap is staying where it is in real terms due to Energy Price Guarantee, meaning although cap is increasing, our taxes are paying them off to keep the cap at the same level. The planned increase has been delayed for 3 months. However, the Energy Bills Support Scheme is ending. This is the scheme that has seen £67 in our accounts each month. So no matter what happens, everyone's bills are going up by £67 on energy. In July they will go up another 20% at current estimates. |
