Our adviser, admin person, and second admin person all went away on holiday at the same time. (The second admin person didn't even tell us she was going.)
Our application also had some issues (caused by the lender but that needed fixed by First Mortgage) and the office phone rang out constantly. I was on holiday but was spending hours trying to call them. In the end, I started calling random other first mortgage branches for help.
We ran right up against our exchange date. If we'd left it to them, there's a good chance we'd have lost the sale or at least have required an extension. |
