| Comment | 5 mins or 5 secs is an irrelevance, the law of contract is pretty much absolute. The Highway Code and statutes on road markings are also unambiguous.
Your only defences here are that it was not adequately signed or the road markings noncompliant/worn away.
If you had gone to a resident, your appeal would have included evidence from said evidence. It did not.
But based on everything you have said, you absolutely know what you did; either pay the fine or gamble. |
