If I'm repeating myself it's because the same points keep being brought up. I don't really know the ins and outs of Glasgow City Council or how the OO works, I'm just trying to be rational.

If a steward had to step in with a member of the public I'm going to assume that it's because they went against their instructions. The stewards are there to do a job and will have been instructed on what to do. If it gets out of hand it's their responsibility, so I can understand the steward getting annoyed. Just try to picture the carnage if it all kicked off and got out of hand because some stupid impatient girl didn't listen to a steward.

I'm fairly certain that if you submitted the appropriate paperwork to notify the organisers of the walk that you crossing of the road might happen at the same time their march was occurring they would find a way to accommodate you. Or if you really wanted all the attention you could get you could involve the council and demand it like a spoiled little schoolgirl...
