Comment | Hey you should still be eligible for assistance via the Scottish Welfare Fund, I too was homeless for 3 months last year staying in temporary emergency accomodation.
If you are with a housing association ask to speak to their Welfare Rights team they can apply for assistance to get you set up with a bed, matress, carpets, white goods and a couch. Carpet fitting and delivery happened quickly when the application was accepted.
The quality is basic but it does the job.
If you are not with a housing association you can still contact your caseworker assigned when you were homeless to help you with an application.

Awesome job on the painting, my flat previous tennents had two dogs and a cat, whilst I like dogs, cats not so much, moving into a place that was well used by them, getting fresh paint on the wall was a great achievement. |
