Im pretty careful in my day to day life, I dont really eat fish, I recycle, and then GCC comes around and puts it all in the same bin. I try to avoid single use plastic as much as I can and re-use little plastic containers for storing stuff around the flat.
I won't be surprised when it's banned, and I won't go out of my way to buy some black market vapes when it does get banned.
Im pretty proud of giving up smoking and haven't had a fag in 1+ year, even on a night out on the piss I hate the taste.
Im probably being incredibly selfish in my view that I don't want them banned, it just feels like the whole plastic / paper straw debate to me, plastic straws make like 0.01% of the entire plastic waste in the world and its a bit like virtue signalling / greenwashing or whatever you want to call it.
