What I'm trying to do. Do you feel the same about booze? So essentially every parent of a child / teenager below 18 that touches booze should lead by example and abstain from consuming alcohol? There's certainly more litter and more bother caused by underage drinking than vaping but nobody is crying out for all parents of under age kids to stop drinking.
I advise my daughter of the dangers of both booze and vaping / smoking (which she's never tried) but I can't force her to listen to me or her mother. Lot of peer pressure on kids which trumps parental advice in most cases.
If parents not doing what they don't want their kids to do was an answer to things the world would be a better place but it's not that straightforward. Guessing you're not a parent. |
