| Comment | The waste is one issue but the most disappointing fact is that if you class vaping as smoking, which it effectively is, then there are more young people smoking that ever before.
The initial concept of the vape was to help people stop smoking. It has exploded into a totally new industry that targets the younger smoker. The packaging and flavours even makes them look like sweets. Many vapers have never even smoked a fag.
Granted there is no harmful smoke and tar being produced but I think there is still a potential future public health issue nevertheless. |
