I was aware that to get the licence you need to have a planning permission granted or some sort of certificate validating that there was no substantial change of use. I'm not interested in going through the planning permission route as I'm not intending this to be a business. I suppose the question then becomes what exactly are the conditions for "no substantial change of use". I imagine that renting it out for 6 months a year would be substantial. But what if I only have it rented for 30 days?
