I was making a point about how idiotic it is to assume all vegans would have a problem cooking meat for money and/or other people.
To break it down for you into simple little bites:
Not all vegans do it for moral reasons, for some it is dietary, others its taste or texture. They'd be able to cook meat without moral issue.
The pilot point: that people often have jobs that go against their moral values. People do morally dubious jobs all the time, despite understanding it's morally dubious.
Planes contribute an inordinate amount towards carbon emissions and thus global warming, yet pilots still do this job knowing what they are contributing to. They can put morality out of the way, both for their career and for those they are providing a service to - just like a vegan chef can.
Being unable to comprehend that point further cements the whole idiotic thing. |
