Nobody's said that. The point is that while there are clear and obvious cuisines associated with Spain, or Italy, or France, or Greece, or many other places - the same isn't true of Scotland. There are a few dishes, aye, but as a collection or set of foods it isn't anywhere near as well known or universally understood. It's a fair question to ask what sort of things you understand to be Scottish because of that - and it seemed like you were a bit sarcastic with them needlessly.
