Electric vehicles are definitely not the answer. We don't have the infrastructure and people don't want to queue and then spend 45 minutes charging their cars.
Where I live in the city (Shawlands) there is great public transport but that's obviously not the way it is everywhere so that needs to improve. As soon as public transport is quicker and cheaper than taking your own car the roads will improve enormously. |
