Glenfiddich and the main sights of the cairngorms are both about 45mins drive from Inverness, so the smarter thing to do would be stay 2 nights in Edin and explore the city, then drive up to Inverness, stay 2 nights there doing the Glenfiddich the first day and Cairngorms the second, then after finishing the cairngorms drive back to the central belt in the evening, drop your hire car and get an airport hotel, then fly back the next day |
