Heya!

Moved from Dublin to Glasgow in early 2021. Unless you have a guarantor, you're gonna have to prepare to pay 6 months rent up front more than likely. Have enough money to live on for a bit too, while you find a job.

While housing is a little difficult to find in Glasgow it's not a patch on Dublin. It took us about a week of searching to find something but that was still during the pandemic so less people were looking for flats.

Cost of living is significantly cheaper here. Highly recommend leaving Dublin behind for Glasgow, I will never look back.
