I did it 11 years ago! No regrets! I speak Irish and learned Gaelic, so it was easy for me to make friends in the Gaelic community. But folk in Glasgow are sound, so it’s easy to make friends. It was easy enough to get jobs when I moved over, but I’m not sure what it’s like now.
