| Comment | Something people are likely failing to mention, the modem/router provided by your ISP is, most likely, terminally shit. If you go into the backend, you can put it into a modem passthrough only mode, and then get an aftermarket WiFi router that will give you a much better WiFi coverage. Extenders are not going to be great, as if you're in an older tenement you're probably also dealing with not wonderful electric wiring, and given extenders put the connection into the electric circuit and pull it out at the other end, it might just end up not making anything any better.
The other option is to hard-wire absolutely everything that you use, as then the connection will be as stable and reliable as it possibly can be. |
