| Comment | I'm saying this kindly as someone who knows a lot of people who struggle with gear - You're gonna get fuck all results from a soft touch approach. Coke addiction is a powerful motivating force and it's a lot easier to justify when you say to yourself 'It's fine if X' such as 'It's fine if my maw pays my tic bill'. He's only going to recover either through sheer force of will vs addiction which is hard as fuck, or when every possible enabling force is removed.
What you're doing is enabling his addiction, this is a bit harsh but what you need to be thinking is that every tic bill you pay is basically spooning gear into his nostrils. I'm sure you're both lovely people but addiction turns lovely people into fiends, and if you don't get it nipped in the bud ASAP you're going to be wasting a lot of money and energy fighting against pure crackhead energy. |
