| Comment | I had an issue in the past where it was just the boot sector that was gubbed. I bought a hard drive caddy and hooked it up to my PC and used an app to recover all that it could.
Did manage to get a lot back, although the information retrieved was in funny file names due to the recovery process. Had to wade through it in the end to sort it all out, but it is possible if the drive isn't completely gubbed. |
