I come from an area outside Glasgow called Clydebank. Famous for getting the crap bombed out of it during the blitz. Although it's not a great area, the centre is decent enough and you'll get a small flat there for 70-80k. Great transport links to the centre of Glasgow. Worth a look. I sold a flat to a student nurse there 5 years ago for less than 70k
