No mate, I said the alternatives to trams are *trains, buses, or cycling*. We should be focusing on *those* and not introducing an expensive . Trams take the worst of both the train and the bus and combine them into one horrid melange. Hell get off-road light rail and put tram carriages on it and it would be fine. But sharing the road with traffic - *including BUSES and CYCLISTS*, idgaf about cars - is a disaster. A white elephant project of ridiculous proportions when you can upgrade your existing bus infrastructure instead.
