| Comment | No they haven't, this is not spot on at all, it's completely uninformed and just wrong.
They've sent OP an email because you need to put your name, address and email into iPlayer when you sign up. They've then checked that address against addresses with a tv licence in their database and it has shown up as unlicensed so they sent an email to the email address OP registered with.
The BBC do not send requests to ISP's and even if they did ISP's would have no legal requirement to provide that information. |
