That's entirely incorrect. Motability is linked to the higher rate of PIP not a blue badge - you can have a blue badge but not receive PIP.
The car isn't free - it's essentially a benefit sacrifice scheme. Instead of the higher mobility rate payment, you swap it for a leased car. You don't build equity and you never own the car.
