Uh oh. Not a good start.

Fuck sake.

You want to move to a place you know nothing about simply due to some blood-and-soil wank? It's that kind of far-fight fuckwittery that is ruining the USA!

My advice would be to visit for a couple of weeks, and keep quiet about the ancestor pish. No one gives a flying fuck. If it's personal interest to trace your family tree, that's grand. Keep it just that. Personal. (Spoiler: It ends up in Africa.)

You will either need parents or grandparents to make the move easier or skills, experience, and a company to sponsor you.

Moving to the UK is difficult and expensive. We are also going right down the toilet, wages are low (about half of what you will get in the USA), cost of living is rising (and out costs start from a higher base); so you may want to consider somewhere else.

Oh, don't forget that Uncle Sam will still have his finger in your pie.
