I lived in Red Rd flats at the time (was also 8) and I swore I could hear some of the music. Can’t remember now if that was true or I was just imagining it. Could definitely see the lights though, I was gutted I wasn’t there, my mum and aunty went and swore kids were not allowed to gigs. That’s been a long running joke since 😑
