Mine would’ve been Steps in 1998 when I was 6 at the SECC. My mum ended up having to work so my straight father had to take me. I wish I was old enough to appreciate the bewilderment on his face. Then my first ‘mosher’ gig was Slipknot at the SECC in 2008. Machinehead and Children of Bodom were supporting and it was Corey Taylor’s birthday so he was wearing a kilt. That’s about the extent of my memory.
