I get you man, I am personally very sensitive to sounds when sleeping and even people normally talking in the flat below me was a problem for me to sleep. Fortunately my wife and daughter are not like me!
Did you consider going on a legal way? Get a lawyer to write some official document with a financial threat or something? Just guessing here really...
