| Comment | Don't be nervous - Glasgow is an amazing city. West End is very much like walking around Greenwich Village in NYC - great cafes, bars, and real pubs. The food scene in Glasgow is awesome and obviously lots of good whisky.
Kelvingrove Museum is absolutely worth a stop, as is Glasgow University. As you can tell from some of the replies, Glaswegians love to make a joke, but as cities go, Glasgow is very safe. West End is 100pct safe and easy.
