| Comment | I can’t say I have good things to say about the School of Innovation unfortunately. It was very poorly organised and some supervisors using student research to get ahead. The whole time I was there was quite frankly a shitshow although I’ve heard taught degrees were better (mine was a research degree). The whole experience really left me with a rather low opinion of the GSA.
As for the Forres campus, it did seem nice but also a bit isolated. I wasn’t based there but went to visit for the winter school which did seem like a cool event for people on taught degrees. They actually forgot my cohort existed so it wasn’t super fun for me.
I think the lack of structure and disorganisation coupled with isolation of being in Forres might prove challenging, but honestly that’s just my opinion. If you’re worried you could enquire if you can arrange to spend at least some time in Glasgow or you can arrange it yourself privately.
