Some individuals are responsible, I am but what about those who don't give a fuck or cant to afford to? I'm just saying there is no point expecting individuals alone to solve a problem that is global.
I said it can't just be that alone it's not gonna work especially when the alternatives aren't realistic for those who don't live a middle-class life style. It's alright saying let's be responsible when China is responsible for shitloads of illegal emissions because the west have had their industrial revolution and want to impose sanctions on other which appear imperialist etc. I'm not being a cop out, if everyone in Britain had a zero carbon footprint it wouldn't save the environment, that's not enough
The decline of cigarette consumption was largely because they used legislation to reinforce the public awareness. |
