And this is why I drive in Glasgow, it's by far the cheapest option. Especially with two or more in the car. And yes, that includes paying for parking, £10-20 pays for _a lot_ of parking. Or simply walk it, it's only 45-60 mins, just wish the route was more pedestrian friendly.

I would much, _*much*_ rather take the bus over the car, but the service is complete shit; the busses are generally filthy, the drivers surly, the price exorbitant, and the bus probably won't show anyway (which has been the case almost every single time I have tried to use it). At least the app hasn't (yet) shat the bed on me.

Public transport should be run at a loss by the state. The "profit" isn't in the public transport per se, it's in the benefits it brings to the winder economy in terms of mobility, tourism, and reduced pollution.
