Locks were sorted same day I got keys.
For the rewire, my dad and I are planning in the next two or three weeks of checking if that's needed. Wires themselves look okay at outlets and lights, so we're gonna get some detectors up the road (he lives in the borders) and see if it's needed.
Carpets are planned, but not in the budget at the moment. There is laminate in place now which will do for the time being. As for noise, I am ground floor but thick underlay is the plan.
At the moment, the windows are painted shut and not letting a draft in now, however when the heatwave comes, they will be scraped, recoated and new rubber seals put on them. |
