Most of the kitchens have been converted into bedrooms. And then they have just made a kitchen out of what would have been cupboard space.
I have a massive kitchen in my pollokshields 2 bed tenement. But in the next street the same flat has been turned into a 3 Bed. They’ve turned a big kitchen into a bedroom. Then made a kitchen from alcove space and some of the living room space. It does work for an extra bedroom but you lose a lot of the big airy feeling of a tenement. |
