| Comment | Don't forget that you can ask the bus driver for help as well if you get really stuck. I have done this a lot when I am unfamiliar with where I am going. The questions I usually ask are whether the bus goes to a certain place, or I have also asked them if they can tell me when I need to get off as well. I am sure I have asked other random questions as well, I think about bus stops/return buses/timings etc. They are usually happy to help! (not come across any not happy to help, the differences between them is just usually the length and cheeriness of the answers : p).
ps. I don't only ask when I am really stuck btw. If I am feeling unsure, I will usually just double check they are heading the way I am expecting them to go. Its a very everyday/common thing for them to be asked questions like that so please don't be nervous about asking them. Its much better to get a quick confirmation from them rather than sitting worrying you're not on the right one (which I have also done multiple times). |
