The southside is particularly cool at the moment, or the west end is the classic “nice” part of Glasgow.
If you’re going south I’d recommend somewhere in Shawlands or Strathbungo, maybe Battlefield. Lots to do around there - coffee shops and pubs and restaurants and parks and cool people.
