"10 year olds out on their own!?"
It's extremely common in most schemes in Glasgow, was when I was a wean and still is now. My godson and goddaughter go to the park on their own to meet up with their pals and they're 10 and 12. The park is about a 5-10 minute walk from the house.
Anyone that's flabbergasted that 10 year olds are allowed out on their own has absolutely no clue what growing up in a working class scheme in Glasgow is like. |
