Cheaper flights too. I was toying with the idea of going last minute to Amsterdam this weekend for an event, from GLA it was over £800 return and from Edinburgh it was around £350, both wit KLM.
Thinking about it most flights I've taken have been from Edinburgh in the last couple of years due to GLA being too expensive.
