I like Glasgow and Scotland (I have been living here for 7 years and I just bought a house), but something that I don't like is how little people seems to care about others. It's like people from Glasgow (or Scotland) are extremely friendly, or they don't give a fuck.

As an example, something like a month ago I was walking alone around a forest area (very near Glasgow, not a very busy place, but you would meet someone every 5 minutes or so). I saw an old dog who looked tired and distressed. I followed the dog a bit thinking I would find their human around, but there was no one around. The dog saw me, so she started to move away from me - I think she was scared of me. I just tried to keep the dog away from the roads, and in the forest, while I phoned my wife for some help. Something like an hour later the owners of the dog appeared, and they were very happy to find her because she's been missing for hours. Anyway, during this hour or so I met quite a lot of people around, and they didn't give a fuck. I asked every one of them if that dog was their dog, and some of them were annoyed that I was speaking with them, some of them just said no and walk away. A couple stopped for like 20 seconds, patted the dog and kept walking. I wonder how many of them met the dog before I was there and just ignored it. You could think that they are lazy bastards and just thought "you are already helping, it's your problem", but it was quite obvious that I had no control over that dog, because she was just running away, and I needed some help to stop her.
