When the police came for me they both struggled with the bonnet to put it down. My whole windscreen was shattered but not broken (if that makes sense). I was terrified that the bonnet would fly open again and visibility was pretty bad due to the shattering.
They told me I'm fine to get on my way. I very slowly went off at the next junction and called my brother to rescue me :(
