| Comment | My lived experience - I saw it with my own two eyes when I lived on Garturk Street. I get why you'd want a formal source but given that the council only give out about 1 fly-tipping fine a week there are no statistics on the ethnic make-up of the people these fines are given to.
People aren't taking their shite from other parts of the city to dump it on the streets of Govanhill. And yes, I know there are other areas of the city with a fly-tipping problem that don't have a high proportion of ethnically Roma residents but this conversation is a out Govanhill. |
