It’s common with this type of gig, head of security have a liaison with artists management and give the nod if they need the show stopping, although most times the artist will stop mid flow
You’ll never see a “organised” pit area in any Scottish venue, security/organisers can’t be seen to promote the practise as then makes them liable if any problems occur.
